Start with one HEIC photo

Make an iPhone photo easier to share. Choose JPG for everyday use or PNG to keep transparency. No account needed for Free conversion.

A photo that works everywhere

Choose a high-quality JPG for everyday sharing or lossless PNG for transparency. No resizing, quality sliders or editing steps.

Private metadata stays behind

Photos are decoded in an isolated worker with bounded resources. GPS, camera EXIF and XMP are removed from the new image. Your original stays untouched.

Common questions

What is HEIC?

HEIC stores photos using efficient HEVC compression. Many iPhones use it by default. JPG and PNG work with more websites, email tools and devices.

Can I convert an iPhone photo to JPEG?

Yes. Upload a still HEIC or HEIF photo and choose JPG, which is the same image format as JPEG. Dislify converts the designated primary still; sequences and Live Photo videos are unsupported.

Does my original photo change?

No. The result is a new File with source history. Signed-in users can preview, download, rename, delete or explicitly share it, then use existing image compression or JPG/PNG to PDF tools. Guest results follow Free retention for 24 hours.

Is GPS or camera metadata removed?

Yes. Location, camera and device EXIF and arbitrary XMP are removed. Orientation is applied to pixels using the HEIF container, and private source color-profile bytes are never copied to the result.

Does JPG preserve transparency?

JPG flattens transparency onto white. Choose PNG to keep meaningful alpha. PNG keeps full RGB or RGBA pixels without palette reduction.

Why can PNG be larger?

PNG stores the decoded pixels losslessly. A larger result is expected for many photographs and does not indicate a failed conversion. JPG usually makes a more practical sharing file.

Are dimensions and colors preserved?

Dimensions stay intact apart from orientation normalization. Supported SDR Display P3 and embedded color profiles are converted to sRGB. Results are 8-bit; HDR PQ/HLG is currently rejected rather than promising HDR preservation.

Can I convert several photos?

Choose Process multiple files to convert several photos with one shared JPG or PNG setting. Each photo creates its own result; successful outputs can be downloaded individually or together as a ZIP. Your plan determines the batch limit. HEIC files imported through your connected Drive or Dropbox can use the same conversion.
