Your image. Fewer hidden details.

Remove image metadata from JPG, PNG and WebP. Keep the same format, oriented dimensions and transparency in a new sanitized copy. Your original stays intact.

Still images · No settings required · Free single-file processing

Create a sanitized copy in the same format. Your source is preserved. Orientation is applied to pixels; transparency is kept. JPG is re-encoded and file size may grow. Visible content is not anonymized.

Remove image metadata

One configuration for each file. Up to 1 files · 20.0 MB per file · 250 MB combined.

0 files · 0 completed · 0 failed

Add compatible files to configure and process them together.

Prepare a clean copy for sharing

EXIF and GPS, camera fields, XMP, comments and PNG text are removed. Orientation is applied to pixels first. Valid bounded color profiles normalize to sRGB; original profile bytes are discarded.

JPG is re-encoded at quality 95. PNG and WebP use lossless encoding after decoding and color normalization. File size may increase, and lossy JPG pixels are not guaranteed identical. This tool does not remove identifying details visible in the image or its filename.

Before you remove metadata

What if my image has no metadata?

You still receive a verified sanitized copy. Your source is never overwritten.

Can I process several images?

Pro and Unlimited support independent batches. Retry failed items without repeating successful jobs, then download successful outputs as a ZIP. Existing Files work without re-upload.

Which images are supported?

Still JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 50 MiB, 8,192 pixels per side and 20 million pixels, subject to your plan limits. Animation, malformed profiles and unsupported color modes are rejected. PNG above 8 bits per channel is not supported.
