Choose, place, save

  1. Choose an image. Existing Files can be reused without uploading another copy.
  2. Enter text and choose its appearance and placement. The preview uses the bundled font and full-resolution placement rules.
  3. Process and download the generated image. Server validation checks the stored source and independently verifies the stored result.

Before you watermark

How do I add a watermark?

Choose a still JPG, PNG or WebP from your device, existing Files or a connected source. Enter your text, adjust its size, margin, opacity, color and position, then process and download the new image.

Will this change my original?

No. Successful processing creates a separate File with source lineage. Your original bytes stay unchanged. Private EXIF, GPS, XMP and comments are not copied into the generated image.

Which text and positions work?

V1 supports 1–120 printable ASCII characters using bundled Bitstream Vera, with nine positions. Sizes of 8–512 pixels and margins of 0–1024 pixels refer to the full image after camera orientation is applied. Text that cannot fit is rejected, never silently shrunk.

Does transparency and quality stay the same?

PNG and WebP use lossless encoding of the composited pixels. Text changes pixels and can change transparency where it is drawn. JPG is re-encoded at quality 95 without chroma subsampling. File size can increase. A text overlay does not guarantee protection against copying.

Can I watermark several images or automate it?

Paid plans support independent batches with successful-output ZIPs and failed-only retry. The same settings apply to every source; a non-fitting image fails independently. Reusable workflows, the processing API and SDK use the same operation.

What are the limits?

Still JPG/JPEG, 8-bit PNG and WebP only: up to 50 MiB per source/output, 8192 pixels per side and 20 million pixels, subject to plan limits. Animated images, AVIF, RAW, logo uploads, tiled marks and arbitrary fonts are outside V1.
